Alanya town is located about 100 kilometers (65 miles) to the east of Antalya. One of the symbols of Alanya is the “Alanya castle “ over the rocky peninsula in the middle of the city. The castle serves today as an open air museum. The entrance to the museum is at the very top of the castle and except the fortifications and ruins there are great views from the castle as well. A big part is opened to public so you can easily walk the fortifications and lovely historical streets of the Alanya castle without any charge. The sightseeing of the castle will take ca 1,15 min, cable car duration included The next stop will be the “Damlataş Cave” , which was discovered by accident in 1948 during the works for the construction of Alanya Harbor, and soon this natural beauty became one of the most popular attractions in the area because it's beleived that the air in the cave is beneficial to asthmatics. Thousands of years old stalagmites and stalactites attracts many visitors to the cave. The cave has a constant temperature of 22 degrees Celsius (around 72 Fahrenheit) and more than 90% of humidity. Damlatas Cave is about 30 meters (100 feet) deep and about 15 meters (50 feet) high. Lunch will be taken in local Restaurant with typical turkish meals In the afternoon, the trip continues to the Alanya Harbour. You will enjoy the boat trip along the coast of Alanya which will take about 1 hour. After the Boat Trip 1,5 hours of free time for a city trip, shopping, photo or coffe break.
