Montgomerie Golf Club

Colin Montgomerie 1st unveiled this championship golf course in 2007, and it quickly became one of the premier golf courses in Belek. In fact, many golfers now rate this as the finest championship golf course in the whole of Turkey and it has not escaped the attention of the European Tour either.

Monty's layout is so good in fact, that it took just six years since its inception to be selected to host a European Tour event and since 2013, The Turkish Airlines Open has made Montgomerie Maxx Royal its permanent home.

Tiger Woods competed in the inaugral event and with winners such as Victor Dubuisson and Brooks Koepka, it is clear that the tournament, which forms part of the European Tour's Race to Dubai Final Series, is already among the most important on the European Tour schedule.
